A Completely unacceptable and absurd amount of words to review. UPDATE: Downgraded to 2 stars because it gave me 104 words to review as I woke up this morning. I will give it a 5 star rating if/when those features are applied. It’s quite annoying when you wake up in the morning and see you have 60+ words to review because the timer never stops. it would also be nice if you could set a range of times to where it wouldn’t add words to golden time like when you’re sleeping. But one thing I find absolutely annoying is how you’re not allowed to set a “maximum cap” on the words you learn during golden time sometimes it gives you 1 word, other times it gives you 47 it would be nice if you set an amount you’re comfortable with doing every golden hour because when you have 40+ words to review it makes it difficult to remember the words you just learned. The app works well and does a good job at helping you remember kanji/ Japanese words. I would NOT use this as my only app for learning Japanese, but it would pair well with WaniKani (for Kanji),DuoLingo, Memrise, or other Japanese language app. I found that I actually enjoyed the gentle game-ification (moving words up levels of fluency) and looked forward to the next quiz.
